Newest Ford Crossover Arrives at Eckenrod Ford

CULLMAN, Ala., March 30, 2018 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The newest model to join the Ford lineup is now available at a Cullman dealership. Eckenrod Ford is now home to the 2018 Ford EcoSport. The EcoSport checks into the new subcompact crossover segment.

Two of Ford's turbocharged EcoBoost engines are available on the 2018 EcoSport. Standard equipment includes the 1.0-liter, EcoBoost, three-cylinder engine. Performance numbers for the engine check in at 123 horsepower and 125 pound-feet of torque, with fuel economy ratings estimated at up to 27 miles per gallon in the cities and 29 miles per gallon on the highways.

EcoSport models also offer the EcoBoost, 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine. This engine increases the performance numbers to 166 horsepower and 149 pound-feet of torque. Front-wheel and all-wheel drive systems are both available.

2018 EcoSport models are available in S, SE, SES and Titanium trim levels. Each trim level offers a different collection of technology systems and features. Features offered on the 2018 EcoSport include the SYNC3 touchscreen infotainment system, B&O Play sound system, SiriusXM satellite radio, USB, Bluetooth and auxiliary connectivity, remote start, keyless entry, a rearview camera and a reverse sensing system.

Behind the second row of seats, 2018 Ford EcoSport models will offer 20.9 cubic feet of storage space. Folding down the rear seats increases this number to 50.0 cubic feet.
