University of Cincinnati Center for Business Analytics Announces Dates and Agenda for 7th Annual Analytics Summit

The University of Cincinnati Center for Business Analytics has released details and registration information for its 7th Annual Analytics Summit 2018. The event will be held May 14th-16th, 2018 at the Sharonville Convention Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. This year’s event will feature high profile keynote speakers, four technical two-day training sessions, one managerial half-day forum, and five all-day session tracks. Keynote speakers include: Craig Brabec, Director, Global Insights and Analytics at Ford Motor Company; Bill Franks, Chief Analytics Officer at the International Institute for Analytics; and Cameron Davies, Senior Vice President Analytics and Strategy at NBC Universal.

According to Mr. Glenn Wegryn, UC Center for Business Analytics’ Executive Director, “With laser focus, our purpose at the Center, and with our Analytics Summit, is to support the growth, understanding and development of the use of analytics in business, government and non-profit organizations. We do this with a combination of world class education; hands-on and intensive events like the Summit; and networking with some of the best analytics and data science leaders across a wide range of industries.”

The 3-day Analytics Summit is broken into two training days and one conference day. Training days include 2-day sessions on Data Mining; Machine Learning with R; Tableau Training; Big Data with Hadoop & Spark; and Analytics for Leaders. Conference day features five analytics track sessions on Data Visualization; Advanced Analytics; Sports Analtyics; Case Studies in Big Data/Analytics; and Analytics Management and Leadership.
