Launching development center focused on skills-based hiring will create opportunities for well-paying jobs for the greater Chicago area

The center will be Catalyte's first in the area and the next step in the company's plan to open 20 centers across the United States by 2020. The Chicago development center will allow Catalyte to better serve Chicago-area clients and provide a local hub for its software developer training programs.

This expansion comes on the heels of Catalyte's acquisition of software development and consulting service company Surge and a $27M Series A funding round. The new Chicago development center will open on May 7, 2018, with the first of tomorrow's software developers graduating in early fall.
