DynCorp International Awarded Contract for F-16 Support Services in Oman

After a competitive process, the Sultanate of Oman has issued DynCorp International (DI) a direct commercial contract to provide comprehensive technical assistance, maintenance support and maintenance repair at the organizational and intermediate levels in support of the Royal Air Force of Oman’s (RAFO) F-16 fleet.

“This win demonstrates DI’s ability to work closely with customers and provide the right solutions for complex and demanding missions,” said Craig Williams, DI’s capture manager for the program.

Joe Ford, DI’s DynAviation president added, “We are exceptionally excited to have the opportunity to continue our partnership with the Royal Air Force of Oman. We are privileged to have earned the trust of the Ministry of Defense in this important mission and look forward to continued successful execution on this contract.”

The contract, which was awarded on January 9, includes a base year plus two option years. The DI Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) team supports RAFO technicians to assure that assigned aircraft and equipment are safe, serviceable and properly configured to meet mission needs.
