MedCrypt Announces New Vice President of Operations, Bringing Customer Perspective to Next Phase of Growth
SAN DIEGO, July 16, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- MedCrypt, a medical device cybersecurity technology provider, is proud to announce the hiring of Vidya Murthy as vice president of operations. Vidya will be responsible for business development, strategic support and expansion activities as the company continues to enhance its cryptographic technology used to secure data sent to and from medical devices.
Vidya joins MedCrypt from medical device manufacturer Becton Dickinson, where she served as senior manager of cybersecurity, specifically focused on maturing the security posture around electronic personal health information (ePHI) management obtained as part of ongoing business. In addition to fielding customer questions in this area, her global team established and grew risk assessment management protocols for information technology initiatives.
