InventHelp Inventor Develops Oil Drip Eliminator (PIT-708)

PITTSBURGH, July 17, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Whether it's changing the oil or adding other fluids to a motor vehicle, it's difficult to keep the floor and other surfaces nearby free of the liquid residue. Luckily, an inventor from New Martinsville, W.V., thought of a solution to this problem.

He developed a prototype for FUNNEL DRAIN PAN to prevent automotive fluids from dripping onto a workbench, floor or ground surface eliminating the need to clean up spills. In other words, it minimizes wasted oil and gas and reduces the chances of slips and falls. As such, it is safe, cost efficient and environmentally friendly. It also saves time and effort and is easy to use.

The inventor's work experience inspired the idea. "I was always getting oil on my bench or floor when changing the oil in my vehicle and needed a way to prevent this," he said.

The original design was submitted to the Pittsburgh office of InventHelp. It is currently patent pending and available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
