The Rapid Growth of Payment Solution Technologies

According to data compiled by Cagemini and BNB Paribas, the Global Payment market is projected to increase at a CAGR of 10.9% with emerging economies projected to grow at 19.6% to 2020. Emerging economies such as China and India are forecasted to grow faster than matured ones, growing at a CAGR of 30.9%. The study indicated that global consumers are expected to make approximately 726 billion digital payment transactions by 2020,. "Curiously, though the number of transactions continues to rise at a rapid rate, the average USD value per transaction has decreased slightly, as digital establishes itself as a growing rival to cash for low cost purchases."
