InventHelp Inventors Develop Tool for Assembling Metal-Stud Wall Frames (BRK-2473)

PITTSBURGH, Aug. 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- "Working in construction, I realized the need for a specialized tool that would help with framing out walls using metal studs," said one of two inventors from Locust Fork, Ala. "We put our heads together and created this tool to allow metal-stud wall frames to be assembled rapidly."

They created a prototype for the 7 SQUARE to allow metal studs to be used for assembling wall frames quickly and easily. The device makes it easier to build both low and high headers in walls. The design helps to save time, money and labor power. The unit allows for hands-free measuring and marking, giving the builder the ability to do both sides of the wall at once. It also ensures that studs are level and square. The tool is designed to boost on-the-job productivity. Additionally, a prototype model is available upon request.

The original design was submitted to the Birmingham office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
