36th Annual Brake Colloquium & Exhibition Opening Keynote Announced

WARRENDALE, Pa., August 1, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The 36th Annual Brake Colloquium & Exhibition announces its opening keynote speaker for the Oct. 14-17 event in Palm Desert, Calif. On Monday, Oct. 15, Kelly Funkhouser, Program Manager, Vehicle Interface at Consumer Reports, will deliver an opening keynote session addressing Consumer Acceptance of EBS and Braking Technologies.

Kelly holds two degrees from the University of Utah, a Bachelor's in Cognitive Psychology with a certificate in Human Factors and Ergonomics and a Master's degree in Cognition and Neural Science with an emphasis on Human-Machine Interaction. She has worked on several industry projects involving human behavior, driver distraction, and vehicle platooning for NASA, AAA, and Peloton Technology. Her areas of expertise include UX, biometrics, and statistics.
