WordStream Honored on the Inc. 5000 for Sixth Consecutive Year

BOSTON, Aug. 16, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- WordStream Inc., a SaaS company that provides online advertising software and services, has landed on Inc. Magazine's annual ranking of the country's fastest-growing private businesses for the sixth year running. Thanks to 535 percent growth, the Boston-based firm earned the #924 spot in this year's list.

Scoring a spot in the Inc. 5000 is no easy task. According to the magazine's chief editor, James Ledbetter, the honorees have, on average, grown six times over since 2014. What's more, only 6 percent of the companies honored by Inc. over the years have made the list six times. For WordStream to remain in the top 1,000 honorees is pretty special.

The recognition as one of the fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. adds to a strong list of accomplishments for WordStream in 2018. In June, the Boston Business Journal recognized the company as one of the Best Places to Work in the city. The following month, the Content Marketing Institute awarded the WordStream blog the honor of Best Topic-Specific Blog in the 2018 Content Marketing Awards.

"We're absolutely thrilled to appear on the Inc. 5000 list for a sixth straight year," said CEO Howard Kogan. "It's a terrific example of our resilience and long-term success as a company, and a testament to our loyal customers and outstanding employees."

The honorees have been invited to the Inc. 5000 Conference and Gala in San Antonio this October. The conference aims to "engage and inspire," empowering business owners with the insights and tools they need to continue growing at impressive rates. Leaders from the world's top businesses attend in order to provide these insights. Past speakers include Daymond John, Lisa Price, Barbara Corcoran, and Hamdi Ulukaya.
