TEC Announces Alliance With Bryan Texas Utilities
AUSTIN, Texas, Aug. 27, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Texas Electric Cooperatives (TEC) leadership recently announced an alliance with Bryan Texas Utilities (BTU), the Lone Star State's fifth-largest municipally-owned electric utility. BTU reaches beyond Bryan, serving customers in rural and urban areas and bringing parts of three counties into the area already served by TEC alliance partnerships.

BTU currently provides power to over 58,000 meters using nearly 2,300 miles of overhead and underground distribution line, as well as 186 miles of transmission line.
