Warren Henry Auto Group's Larry Zinn Named to Automotive News' 40 Under 40 List

DETROIT, Aug. 30, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Automotive News (published by Crain Communications Inc.), the nation's preeminent publication covering the automotive industry, recently named Larry Zinn, Organizational General Manager for Miami-based Warren Henry Auto Group, to their seventh annual listing of 40 Under 40 in Auto Retailing. The individuals named to the list are described as "industry standouts today... poised to be tomorrow's leaders."

The publication noted that Larry's automotive successes included revitalizing the Warren Henry Infiniti Dealership in the midst of the Great Recession (increasing sales 72% in his first year) and earning the #1 position on Automotive News' prestigious list of the 100 Best Dealerships to Work For list for Lamborghini Broward in 2017. This honor was earned after Zinn built his team at that dealership from scratch.

You might say it is in his blood - Zinn is the son and grandson of car dealers. But he wasn't always sure he wanted to join the automotive sales industry. He studied at Boston College and Northwood University before realizing that "this is what I was most passionate about." Of his collegiate studies, Zinn said, "When you learn the textbook, it's always different because textbooks don't factor in personalities."

Landing on not one but two prestigious industry publication lists is a team effort, says Zinn. "We commit to our employees long-term because we need our best employees to stay with us long-term, too. So we engage the team at its core with appreciation dinners, lunches and events that show our commitment. But we also help employees improve their professional skills and grow in their careers."

And what does Larry Zinn see for the future of Warren Henry Automotive?

"Things change quickly everywhere, but especially in automotive retailing. That's one of the biggest reasons we're building our new headquarters at SoLe Mia in North Miami. It's pretty revolutionary, with more space, more amenities, and more technology to help serve our customers. But our biggest strength will always be having a team that can evolve to a higher playing level. Our team is able to adapt to and capitalize on change. So our customers are able to purchase or service their vehicle faster, easier, and better than ever before. That's the future."
