DynCorp International Awarded Task Order 14 and an Option Year for Task Order 1 under the Afghanistan Life Support Services Contract

On March 16, the U.S. Department of State (DOS) awarded DynCorp International (DI) a new task order under the Afghanistan Life Support Services (ALiSS) Contract. Task Order 14 is for Camp Eggers Support Services. It is for one base year with two option years, and is valued at $13.4 million if all options are exercised. Performance began on December 29, 2017.
DI is providing Life Support Services for Camp Eggers in Kabul, Afghanistan. This is DI’s tenth task order under the ALiSS contract.
“DI quickly responded and successfully executed this task order within 48 hours of notice from DOS,” said Alex Sexton, DI capture manager. “This is just what DI is built for – it is in our DNA to provide rapid response to big challenges. I’m really proud of DI’s excellent reputation and our entire team for delivering on our most challenging commitments. Our collective response provided DOS with significant confidence in their decision to award this as a task order under ALiSS instead of a stand-alone contract vehicle. We are pleased and eager to continue providing strong support to DOS.”
On February 19, DOS exercised option year three on Task Order 1. Under this task order, DI provides food services and catering for a total of six cafeterias around the U.S. Embassy Kabul compound, Camp Sullivan, Camp Seitz and Camp Alvarado. The option year started February 20 and is valued at $76.5 million.
