InventHelp Inventor Develops Solar Cover for Evaporative Coolers (LST-875)

PITTSBURGH, Sept. 7, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- An inventor from Tehochapi, Calif., has developed the SWAMP COOLER BOOSTER, a solar cover sized to fit on top of roof-mounted evaporative coolers used in residential and light commercial building applications.

"Living in a dry climate, everyone uses an evaporative cooler. These units are placed in direct sunlight, which heats up the unit. My invention will provide shade to these units, while also creating electrical power," said the inventor. The COOLER BOOSTER allows an evaporative cooler to run more efficiently. It does this by absorbing the sun's heat. This will lower the temperature of the intake air. It also reduces the heat load/stress on the evaporative cooler fan and pump components. This may save the homeowner or building owner considerable amounts of electrical power, while also providing a more comfortable indoor space.

The original design was submitted to the Los Angeles office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
