Cabot Corporation Introduces Optimized Charcoal Powder for Skin, Hair and Oral Care

Cabot Corporation (NYSE: CBT), a leading global specialty chemicals and performance materials company, today introduced NORIT® SX SUPER S charcoal powder – a high purity charcoal powder that meets stringent industry polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) specifications for use by the cosmetics industry. Demand for high purity charcoal is rising due to its abrasive, adsorptive and opacifying properties in a range of consumer products such as skin cleansers, toothpaste, shampoos and conditioners.
