“Helping Hands Day is just one way that our employees can give back to their local communities,” stated John Ehle, President of HMC. “We encourage all of our employees to participate in this day and the majority of our staff not only do so, but come back enriched by the experience. It’s a day many look forward to each year.”

Hunt’s Helping Hands Day is about utilizing employees’ time, energy and skills for an experience that helps to create a strong team spirit, while at the same time helping support critical community organizations.

This year, some of the organizations that benefitted from Helping Hands Day included:
Ronald McDonald House, Partners in Housing, Rescue Mission of El Paso, Washington Animal Control, Children’s Cancer Fund, and various local food banks and homeless shelters.

“Thank you so much for the volunteers who served at the South Patrick Chapel,” stated Lt Col, Glenn Bright, Wing Chaplain, Patrick AFB. “They all were amazing as they cleaned and organized an entire education building and chapel. The building is so much more welcoming and such a better place to grow spiritually.”

Hunt Helping Hands Day is part of the Hunt Heroes Foundation, Hunt Military Communities’ non-profit organization.
