ACell Announces Participation in the American College of Surgeons Clinical Congress

COLUMBIA, Md., Oct. 22, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- ACell, Inc. today announced their participation in the 2018 American College of Surgeons (ACS) Clinical Congress being held October 22-25 in Boston, Massachusetts.

ACell will sponsor an Innovations Theater presentation titled "Shifting the Paradigm : A New Approach to Ventral Hernia Repair," on October 24 at 12 noon. This program will provide an overview of clinical and pre-clinical research detailing the remodeling response of ACell's Gentrix® Surgical Matrix devices and their ability to facilitate the deposition of biomechanically functional tissue. The event will be led by Collin Brathwaite, MD, Chairman of Surgery at NYU Winthrop Hospital.

Hands-on product demonstrations and additional product information will be available at ACell's booth, located in the exhibit hall at space #1035. ACell's booth will feature devices for complex wound management, hernia repair, and open abdomen management.
