MGMA Names Akash Madiah as New Chief Financial Officer
ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Oct. 24, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) is pleased to welcome Akash Madiah as the organization's new Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Madiah will lead MGMA's financial operations, accounting processes and revenue capture, in addition to providing leadership and strategic guidance across the organization.

Madiah joins MGMA from DaVita Medical Group where he served as market CFO for the Colorado Springs region. As the financial leader, he oversaw the accounting and finance functions for DaVita's Colorado Springs practice groups. Before joining Davita Medical Group, Madiah served in financial leadership roles at a variety of organizations, including Vail Resorts, KPMG LLP and Zolfo Cooper. Akash grew up in Colorado, earning his bachelor's degree in engineering and economics from Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill., and his MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
Madiah was chosen as MGMA's new CFO after an intensive and months-long search process spearheaded by Quick Leonard Kieffer.
