Early Registration Ending Soon for 2019 iaedp(TM) Symposium

PEKIN, Ill., Nov. 15, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- In just four weeks, early registration for the 33rd annual iaedp(TM) (International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals) Symposium wraps up, along with the only opportunity to realize significant savings for registration and lodging for the 2019 iaedp(TM) Symposium. The action-packed conference, presenting the latest in new treatments and research concerning eating disorders, takes place from February 7 - 10, 2019 in Palm Desert, California at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort.

Seven keynote speakers, a multitude of workshops, pre-conference sessions and special events make up the Symposium's program. In addition, the winners of the "Imagine Me Beyond What You See" Body Image Mannequin Art Competition are showcased. In its eighth year, this unique art competition is currently receiving submissions.

"With record attendance expected, the networking opportunities will certainly result in some amazing connections and even more amazing friends," says Bonnie Harken, Managing Director at the iaedp(TM) Foundation.

The 2019 iaedp(TM) Symposium offers five days of training sessions and instructive presentations. Highlights of the more than 60 presentations include trauma in eating disorders, childhood obesity, eating disorders and the brain, eating disorders and the prevalence of exercise, positive body image, transgender youth and body image and insights into Binge Eating Disorder, among many more.

Due to its extreme popularity, iaedp(TM) will once again offer its pre-conference sessions onsite at the 2019 Symposium. With these courses, professionals who are new to the field or who do not specialize in eating disorders can receive a first-hand, comprehensive introduction to eating disorder treatment.

The iaedp(TM) Foundation also offers a new mobile app, specifically designed for the 2019 iaedp(TM) Symposium. It is free and offers easy access for conference attendees to plan and get information about the Symposium. The app is available at registration.
