DynCorp International Awarded Navy Helicopter Maintenance Support Contract

The Naval Air Systems Command has awarded DynCorp International (DI) a $152 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide logistics support services and material for the maintenance of TH-57 aircraft. Funds will be obligated on individual task orders as they are issued. The contract has a two-year base period and two option years.

“We are excited to support the U.S. Navy’s training mission to provide fully qualified helicopter pilots for the fleet,” said Jeff Dickman, senior director, DI Capture Management.

DI will provide organizational (O-level), intermediate (I-level), and depot level (D-level) maintenance for the U.S. Navy TH-57 helicopters. The O- and I- level maintenance work will be performed at Naval Air Station Whiting Field in Florida, and D-level maintenance work will be performed at DI’s Andalusia, Alabama facility.

“We are thrilled with the opportunity and look forward to helping the Navy meet the pilot production requirements,” said Joe Ford, president, DynAviation.
