LiveXLive To Livestream Gryffin Concert November 30

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Nov. 28, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- LiveXLive Media, Inc. (NASDAQ: LIVX) ("LiveXLive"), a global digital media company focused on live entertainment, today announced that it will livestream musician, dance artist/producer Gryffin's sold-out concert at the Hollywood Palladium on November 30th. The livestream will include Gryffin's performance, as well as exclusive interviews and as-it-happens backstage and behind-the-scenes content.

An LA-based multi-instrumentalist, artist and producer, Gryffin, who is also signed to Darkroom/Geffen Records, has built his career on a stream of hit singles and acclaimed live performances. His tracks have generated more than 800 million streams, topping Spotify's Viral 50, and hitting the Billboard Top Dance/Electronic charts with each of his nine singles. Live, he steps out from behind his turntable to play guitar, keyboards, or drums in-between mixing, creating an "entirely new landscape" for dance music. The debut of Gryffin's brand-new live show in Los Angeles sold out two months in advance, and he has since sold out shows from New York to Chicago. Tickets for the tour are currently on sale.

Gryffin's Palladium show marks the third time that Gryffin and LiveXLive have worked together. Two of his festival shows were streamed on the platform, and he closed the company's IAB NewFronts West presentation with a buzz-generating live performance earlier this year.

"This show at the Hollywood Palladium is the biggest headline show I've ever done in LA, and it's the first time I'm unveiling my brand-new live show," Gryffin said. "We went bigger and more ambitious than we've ever done before, and I want to make sure as many fans are able to see what we've been working on. I want the fans to get as close to the show as possible, to see what's happening backstage, and give an all-access look into what goes on during the show and behind the scenes. With how popular live-streaming is becoming, it was a no brainer to partner with LiveXLive for this show since they've been incredible to work with in the past."

"We are thrilled to be working with Gryffin and his team once again," said Rob Ellin, chairman and CEO of LiveXLive. "His music is uplifting and positive, and perfectly demonstrates the power of music to unite people."

Bringing the "best seat in the house" to music fans worldwide who can't attend the concert in person, LiveXLive will livestream Gryffin's performance and related original content live from the Palladium on November 30th. The livestream can be accessed at www.livexlive.com through the LiveXLive mobile and OTT apps for iOS, Android, Roku, Amazon Fire TV and Apple TV. The stream will also appear on YouTube, LiveXLive's Twitch channel, and other social platforms. An audio stream will be available on LiveXLive's Slacker radio platform at www.slacker.com. The start time and livestream lineup will be announced on www.livexlive.com and LiveXLive's social handles and apps.

LiveXLive plans to stream more than 27 music festivals and concerts across the globe featuring over 350 hours of live content during its 2019 fiscal year. In addition, the company continues to expand its offering, streaming award show content, concerts and other events.

About Gryffin:

Gryffin, born Dan Griffith, was originally classically trained as a pianist and guitar player, playing in several bands. After receiving an electrical engineering degree from the University of Southern California, he pursued music production. Drawing equally from his edgy ingenuity as a producer and his carefully honed musicality as a guitarist and pianist, Gryffin made his breakthrough in 2016 with two singles showcasing his deeply melodic take on dance music: "Heading Home" ft. Josef Salvat (which shot to #1 on Spotify's US and Global Viral charts) and the Bipolar Sunshine collaboration "Whole Heart" and his smash single "Feel Good" -- with Illenium and featuring Daya -- peaked at #18 on Dance/Mix Show Airplay charts. In addition, Gryffin's recent single, "Tie Me Down" ft. Elle Duhé that Nylon calls "wonderfully refreshing", hit #2 on the Spotify US Viral Chart and #9 on the Global Viral Chart. Gryffin is currently in the studio working on his upcoming debut project. The producer's latest release, "Remember" featuring ZOHARA, came out in October has amassed over 10 million streams in less than a month.
