Livongo Promotes Jennifer Schneider to President

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Dec. 18, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Livongo Health, the first Applied Health Signals company empowering people with chronic conditions to live better and healthier lives, today announced Dr. Jennifer Schneider's promotion to President. Schneider will broaden her responsibilities at the Company and assume the role of President, with responsibility for Product, Data Science, Software Engineering, Marketing, and Clinical Operations. Schneider previously served as the Company's Chief Medical Officer.

Schneider joined Livongo in 2015, having most recently served as Castlight's Chief Medical Officer. At the time, it was considered a coupe to land such a highly regarded industry leader for the company. Over the last three years, she has built the company's clinical and data science operations, now considered industry-leading, and has helped to drive results that demonstrate a substantial and sustained reduction in A1c and financial ROI for clients. Over the last 12 months, her responsibilities have expanded in line with the Company's growth, particularly in the strategy realm as the Company has moved beyond diabetes to focus on the health of the whole person.

Dr. Schneider previously held leadership roles in the provider setting as a health outcomes researcher and Chief Resident at Stanford University, and practiced medicine as an attending physician at Stanford University, the VA Palo Alto Health Care System, and Kaiser Permanente. Dr. Schneider has an undergraduate degree from the College of the Holy Cross, a Doctor of Medicine degree from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and a Master of Science degree in Health Services Research from Stanford University. She completed her internal medicine residency at Stanford University Hospital.
