Data Projections toy drive benefits Blue Santa in Austin, Houston and San Antonio

HOUSTON, Dec. 19, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- For the third year running, Texas-based company Data Projections held a companywide toy drive to benefit Blue Santa programs, a collaboration between local police departments and their communities to provide toys for families in need. "Texas is home for us and we are honored to be partnering with the Austin, Houston and San Antonio police departments to bring some of the joy and magic of the holiday season to children that might not otherwise get to experience it," said Robby Turner, Executive Vice President of Data Projections.

Earlier this week, staff from Data Projections' Austin office had the privilege of attending an Operation Blue Santa of Austin's charity event. Several staff members merrily dressed in full Christmas costumes as they worked alongside a blue clad Santa and Mrs. Claus. "It was hard to tell who had the brightest smiles, our staff or the children," said Michelle Stark, an Austin Data Projections employee. "I know the purpose of the toy drive is to provide gifts for the children, but in all honesty the children are really the ones gifting us for letting us be a part of their Christmas joy," Turner concluded.
