Belden Demonstrates Smart Building Technology Solutions at 2019 BICSI Winter Conference

Belden Inc., a global leader in signal transmission solutions for mission-critical applications, will demonstrate technology solutions for smart-building infrastructure at the 2019 BICSI Winter Conference & Exhibition, Jan. 20-24 in Orlando, Florida.

Belden is proud to host Innovative Lighting and Kramer in its BICSI booth (#1007). Innovative Lighting’s GENISYS PoE Lighting System supports quick installation of customizable LED lighting fixtures, using Ethernet cables to power, control and monitor LED lighting over the network.

Kramer will showcase its VSM-4x4HFS matrix switcher/multi scaler, which provides the simplest, most cost-effective way to display content on a 2x2 video wall without complicated menus or settings. The simple press of a button arranges incoming sources to display across four outputs.

Belden will also demonstrate connectivity solutions that can be used across the enterprise to reduce labor and overall system costs, improve installation time and support state-of-the-art automation and technology. ICT professionals will learn how they can:

  • Spend less time on termination with the game-changing REVConnect RJ45 connectivity system, which supports all category cables with a single tool and now includes Pre-Loaded Patch Panels
  • Reduce rework and eliminate the need for splice enclosures and splice trays with FiberExpress Fusion Splice-On Connectors
  • Deliver 4K content over 100 m with 4K UHD Media Cables, which take up 25% less space, can be combined with REVConnect to achieve an installation-friendly solution and support Power over HDBaseT applications

In addition, Belden will present at the 2019 BICSI Winter Conference & Exhibition:

  • Video: Transmission Choices and Network Impacts, led by Belden Regional Sales Engineer David Stephens, CTS. On Wednesday, Jan. 23, from 9am to 10am, attendees will learn about HDBaseT, SDVoE and AVB transmission solutions and current compression standards, the effects of HDR and WGC on the viewing experience and transmission, and how integrators use these solutions.

Only Belden’s innovative enterprise connectivity solutions take a universal approach to customers’ enterprises, resolving signal transmission needs with IP- and legacy-based solutions that enable a smooth migration to convergence. Belden’s extensive portfolio spans LAN, data centers, building automation and security and access control to keep information running smoothly. Outstanding global service and support capabilities and application-specific warranty programs complete Belden’s unique offering.
