Local Resident Receives Helping Hand from Foundation Repair Company

HOUSTON, Jan. 29, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The call went out from The Michael Berry Show: Arlinda Johnson needed help. Her house was in dire need of repairs, and she didn't have the means to make them.

And the problem that had to be addressed first, before any other work could be done? Foundation repairs, often some of the most intensive and expensive repairs a home can go through.

It took Atlas Foundation Repair less than a minute to make their decision. They would step in, and step up.

An anonymous listener nominated Johnson for The Michael Berry Show's "12 Days of Christmas Kindness."

"We created 12 Days of Christmas Kindness and Chanukkah Happiness to show the best in our listeners," says Berry, the "Czar of Talk" and the host of the show. "To really remind people about the spirit of the season. When one of our listeners told us Arlinda's story, we called it on air. Mark and Rob at Atlas Foundation called in immediately. They were eager to help."

The nominating listener's first concern was getting Johnson's roof fixed. Larry Showalter, the roofing contractor who also volunteered to help, recommended foundation repairs upon seeing the home.

Atlas helped both with the foundation repair and with Johnson's under-slab plumbing.

Berry says Atlas is known for showing similar kindnesses year-round. "They realize they're doing more than just fixing foundations. I'm truly proud to call them friends."

Mark Chamberlain of Atlas Foundation Repair describes the entire team as, "Feverishly supportive of Michael Berry's program and efforts. Mr. Berry and The Michael Berry Show's listeners are all about helping others, which is the mantra Atlas lives by."
