CARROLLTON, Texas, Feb. 7, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Trinity Dermatology, now a part of U.S. Dermatology Partners, announces expanded offerings to include Mohs Surgery to patients in Carrollton and surrounding communities. Services will be available beginning February 5th. Trinity Dermatology Carrollton was founded in 1990 and provides medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology expertise with five board-certified dermatologists.
The newly renovated offices include four surgery rooms and specialized Mohs equipment. Surgeries will be performed by Howard Steinman, MD, a leading expert in the field of Mohs surgery, specializing in the treatment of basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and more complicated skin cancer cases.
Dr. Steinman earned his Doctor of Medicine from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Mo. He completed his dermatology residency at the University of California at San Diego, and his Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatological surgery fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Steinman has co-authored two Mohs surgery textbooks as well as 12 textbook chapters. He co-directs an annual course in Mohs surgery and frequently lectures in the United States, Europe, and Australia.
