Body from Channel plane wreckage identified as footballer Sala: police
A body recovered from the wreckage of a plane in the Channel has been identified as that of Argentine footballer Emiliano Sala, British police said Thursday.
"The body brought to Portland Port today has been formally identified... as that of professional footballer Emiliano Sala," police said on Twitter.
