National Life's New Detroit General Agency To Hold Grand Opening

MONTPELIER, Vt., Feb. 22, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- National Life's new general agency in the Detroit area will hold a grand opening to celebrate some of the key charitable groups in the region that it has supported over the years.

Directors of the Special Olympics and Easter Seals will be on hand when Preferred Financial Partners cuts the ribbon at its office in Troy. Mayor Dane Slater is scheduled to participate, along with Mehran Assadi, Chairman, CEO and President of National Life, and Colleen Schueneman, CEO of Preferred Financial Partners.

A nominee for National Life's LifeChanger of the Year educator recognition program will also be honored during the event.

"We're delighted to welcome Colleen and her team at Preferred Financial Partners to National Life," Assadi said. "The Detroit region will be well-served by an agency that shares our corporate values to do good in the communities it serves."

Schueneman and her team at Preferred Financial Partners have long been involved with Special Olympics and Easter Seals, as well as literacy initiatives in inner-city schools, because community support is a key part of their business plan.

"We strive, through financial services' impact and community outreach, to be the advocate for all people by providing a sense of purpose and relevance," Schueneman said. "This mainstream commitment aligns us with the philosophy of National Life Group."

The grand opening will take place from 3 to 6 p.m. on Feb. 27 at Preferred Financial Partner's office at 755 West Big Beaver Road in Troy.
