Lamborghini Charlotte Opens Reservations for Newly-announced Models
CHARLOTTE, N.C., Feb. 26, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Lamborghini has been innovating in the supercar market for over 60 years, and now the Italian auto manufacturer has released details on the latest iteration of the Huracan. It's called the Huracan EVO, and it's set to join the Huracan RWD and the Huracan Performante as the replacement for the standard Huracan. Like other Huracan models, the Huracan EVO will be offered as a hardtop and a convertible. Both the Huracan EVO Coupe and the Huracan EVO Spyder are available for order through Lamborghini Charlotte.
The new Huracan EVO is borrowing some of the technology from the current Aventador. For the first time, the Huracan will come with four-wheel steering. This innovative feature allows the Huracan EVO to be nimbler on the track, more stable at high speeds and more maneuverable during slow precise driving.
The Aventador isn't the only model that the Huracan EVO is borrowing from. The new Huracan EVO is getting a performance upgrade as well with the V-10 engine from the high-performance Huracan Performante. This will give the Huracan EVO 30 more horsepower and 30 more pound-feet of torque pushing the numbers of the Huracan EVO to 640 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque.
Along with the performance and suspension upgrades, the Huracan EVO also employs an improved exterior design and an improved infotainment screen which Lamborghini calls the human machine interface or HMI. The new HMI system will give the driver to access live telemetry and vehicle data in addition to common infotainment features.
Both the Huracan EVO Coupe and the Huracan EVO Spyder will be available in spring of 2019.
