A New Podcast, The 2X CEO, Launches to Help Women Entrepreneurs

ATLANTA, March 15, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The 2X CEO, a new podcast designed to help women entrepreneurs, launches this week, with advice for women who are startup founders and women who are moving into leadership positions in the corporate world.

The premiere episode, "Character," includes an interview with venture capital fund manager Chenxi Wang, of Rain Capital in San Francisco, who talks about what she looks for in a company and founder to invest in. Kara Smith Brown, founder of SmithBrown Marketing in Atlanta, shares how embracing her true leadership style led her company to break $1 million in revenue--just two years after her business launched.

The 2X CEO is hosted by Bernie Dixon, an investor and founder of Launchpad2X, a non-profit accelerator for women-owned startups, with participants from around the country. Launchpad2X has successfully graduated 146 women entrepreneurs who are beating national statistics: 25 percent of graduated Launchpad2X business owners have achieved over $1 million in annual revenue, while nationally, only 1.7 percent of women-owned businesses hit that mark, according to the 2018 State of Women Owned Businesses report by American Express.

Now, through The 2X CEO podcast, other women around the country will be able to take advantage of the experts, information, and peer network that's led Launchpad2X graduates to success.

"The conversations we are having in the Launchpad2X programs are deeply impactful, energizing and simply amazing," Dixon said. "This podcast series allows us to share that same insight with women all over the world. I want to give women the edge in business and allow them to project the confidence and competence of highly successful CEOs. We play to win and want other women to experience that success."

Future topics and guests include Michael Maziar from Silicon Valley Bank on funding your business; editor Holly Beilin from Hypepotamus on how to do your own media relations; and Hala Moddelmog, president and CEO of the Metro Atlanta Chamber, on how the chamber supports startups.

Segments are released on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. The episodes include expert interviews, Q&A segments with Dixon, and first-person, day-in-the-life style accounts from entrepreneurs facing pivotal challenges. New episodes of The 2X CEO will be released every month, and each episode is a three-part themed package that lets listeners choose what they want to hear.
