Park Systems, World-Leading Manufacturer of Atomic Force Microscopes Expands with a New European Subsidiary in France

MANNHEIM, Germany, March 19, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Park Systems, world-leading manufacturer of Atomic Force Microscopes (AFM) announced the opening of its new subsidiary, Park Systems France. This is part of a continued global expansion that began with the opening of the Park European Headquarters in Manheim Germany. The new office is located in Orsay France and will serve as a central hub for AFM technical sales, applications and customer support to better serve the French, Spanish and Portuguese research communities.

"Since Park Systems opened their European office, the demand for Park's line of Atomic Force Microscopes has increased significantly in Europe due primarily to the unsurpassed accuracy, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and unique product design," states Ludger Weisser, General Manager of Park Systems Europe GmbH. "By establishing our European headquarters and subsidiaries, Park Systems is launching a focused effort to develop close relationships with European thought leaders within the scientific and manufacturing communities and develop AFM products that meet their specific needs."

Park Systems is a leading innovator in nanoscale microscopy and metrology and continues to invest in the development of emerging technology. They now have regional headquarters in Korea, United States, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, China, Mexico, and Germany. As the nanoscale microscopy demands more effective AFM technology, Park Systems is focused on developing revolutionary breakthroughs for the best AFM products for both scientific research and industrial quality control.

Park AFM will be on exhibit at the 22nd Le forum des microscopies à sonde locale, the most important atomic force microscopy exhibit in France on March 19 - 22, 2019 near Marseilles France, where Park Systems will give an AFM Workshop on SICM based SECM Applications for Live Cell Research. Park will also exhibit at the European Materials Research Society Europe-MRS Spring Meeting and Exhibit May 27- 31, 2019 in Nice, France. The European Headquarters in Manheim Germany includes a Park Nanoscience Lab, part of a growing network worldwide. The Park Nanoscience Labs showcase advanced atomic force microscopy (AFM) systems, demonstrate a wide variety of cutting-edge applications--ranging from materials science to chemistry and biology, to semiconductor and data storage devices--and provide hands-on experience, training, and service year-round.

Starting in 2018, Park Systems began sponsoring NanoScientific Symposiums worldwide. The 2nd NanoScientific Forum Europe 2019 (NSFE 2019) will be held on September 11 - 13, 2019, hosted by Tobias Cramer, Department of Physics and Astronomy of University of Bologna (UNIBO), and co-organized by CNR-ISMN Bologna, Italy. Other NanoScientific Symposiums will be held at the Park NanoScience Center at SUNY Polytechnic in Albany NY, Nov. 13-14, 2019 and in Mexico City Oct. 3-4, 2019.

Park Systems was founded in 1997 and holds over 32 patents related to AFM technology, including True Non-Contact Mode(TM) using decoupled XY and Z scanners, PTR measurements for data storage application, NX-Bio technology using Scanning ion conductance microscopy (SICM) on live cell, 3D AFM, and fully automated AFM operation software (SmartScan(TM)).

Since becoming the only public offering for an AFM business in 2016, Park Systems expansion initiatives reflect the robust growth of their business with many company-wide global initiatives for continued future success worldwide.
