        complement other treatment approaches;
    -- In partnership with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention,
        several sessions will prepare clinicians to assess suicide risk,
        implement safety plans, and counsel at-risk patients and their families.
    -- in collaboration with the National Conference on Addiction Disorders
        (NCAD), several sessions have been designed to cover evidence-based
        guidelines and best practices around Opioid Use Disorder (OUD).

"We have transformed the programming for 2019, adding even more content and interactivity, including "turn and talk" sessions and case-based discussions to provide the most impactful learning experience for attendees," said Rakesh Jain, MD, MPH, Psych Congress Faculty Leader and Clinical Professor, Department of Psychiatry, Texas Tech University School of Medicine. "Attendees will glean practical takeaways from sessions led by expert faculty and will leave each meeting equipped with new ideas and approaches that can be easily implemented when they return to the office."

More than 5,500 psychiatry, mental health, addiction treatment, and primary care professionals from across the United States have participated in Psych Congress Regionals over the past seven years. Attendees regularly rate the Regionals as one of the best opportunities for gaining practical, evidence-based takeaways on new treatment strategies and approaches, and connecting with peers to share best practices.

Participants can earn up to 6.5 continuing education (CE) and continuing medical education (CME) credits.
