Tindall's South Carolina Division to Provide Precast Concrete for Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort Parking Deck
SPARTANBURG, S.C., March 28, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Tindall Corporation's South Carolina Division will provide precast concrete components for a new parking structure that adjoins the new 725 room hotel and convention center expansion at Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort in Cherokee, North Carolina. The project is set to begin in March 2019.

The parking garage will include valet and public parking spaces for guests, as well as a loading/unloading and staging area to service the resort's new ballroom/exhibit hall and hotel tower. The structure will total over 823,000-square-feet with 2,646 parking spaces. Over 683,000-square-feet of the deck will be elevated precast floor area.

This precast structure's construction will be both challenging and complex to develop due to the site's unique position to archeologically significant landmarks. The structure will be laid out in strategic locations to coordinate with these regions.
Tindall's South Carolina Division is partnering with Finfrock, which will provide general construction, Architect and Engineer of Record services on this project. It was apparent early in the development process that precast concrete was the best solution for the project's schedule and scope. Precast concrete offers a significantly faster completion time and durability than cast-in-place concrete, decreases risk of weather delays, lost productivity claims and allows for faster occupancy for less cost.
