Mothers' Milk Bank of North Texas Celebrates Move with Grand Opening

FORT WORTH, Texas, March 29, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Mothers' Milk Bank of North Texas (MMBNT) will celebrate its move into a new facility with a Grand Opening, happening from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 4.

Guests can tour the 13,090 square foot building, which includes a laboratory, advanced processing equipment and community education space. Featuring a ribbon-cutting ceremony, food trucks and outdoor games, the family-friendly event is open to the community.

The Grand Opening follows a two-year capital campaign, which funded the renovation of and addition to an existing office building in southwest Fort Worth. This facility offers more than three times the space of MMBNT's previous home, accommodating the nonprofit's exponential growth and preparing the organization for a future of helping more fragile infants than ever before.

"From mothers who donate extra breastmilk to a wide variety of philanthropic individuals and organizations, our generous community truly made this project possible. Having more room to make more miracles is a dream come true and we are delighted to celebrate with everyone," Executive Director Amy Vickers said.

Those interested in attending the event can RSVP on the "Events" tab on MMBNT's Facebook page.

MMBNT is located at 7617 Benbrook Parkway, Fort Worth, Texas, 76126.
