Inaugural Freedom & Dignity Festival™ Benefiting Chicagoland Veterans Announces Full Lineup

Café Liberty, a nonprofit providing free culinary training and job placement services for Chicagoland veterans in need, today announced the full lineup for its inaugural Freedom & Dignity Festival™, which takes place on August 10, 2019 at Boomers Stadium in Schaumburg, Illinois.

Billboard’s Country Artist of the Decade Toby Keith headlines the festival. Keith has sold over 40 million albums and appeared on the country music charts more than 60 times during his career. The lineup also includes Clay Walker, Colt Ford and Craig Campbell. Tickets are available at https://www.freedomanddignityfestival.org

“We’re thrilled to have headliner Toby Keith and a fantastic supporting lineup for the inaugural Freedom & Dignity Festival™,” said Dan Gibbons, founder and Executive Director of Café Liberty and The Dan Gibbons Foundation. “We’re expecting more than 12,500 attendees for the 2019 event, which will support our efforts to provide free job training programs and improve the quality of veterans’ lives in our local communities.”

Café Liberty’s unique culinary training program professionally trains veterans and adult members of their families for a career in the food service industry and assists in job placement upon graduation. Chef Cheryl Corrado, former Executive Chef at CHIC (Cooking & Hospitality Institute of Chicago – Le Cordon Bleu) developed the curriculum and is lead instructor.

The Freedom & Dignity Festival™ will be produced by Winfield-based Imagn Media & Events, a veteran-owned and operated events management company. For more information and updates, visit the event pages on Facebook and Instagram.
