DETROIT, April 30, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- General Motors Co. (NYSE: GM) today reported solid first-quarter earnings. The company's full-size truck launch is ahead of plan and drove strong pricing for the quarter in North America. Average transaction prices for GM's all-new full-size crew cab pickup trucks are up $5,800 over the outgoing models.

First-quarter 2019 results:

    --  EPS-diluted of $1.48 and EPS-diluted-adjusted of $1.41.
    --  Income of $2.1 billion, up 93.2% year over year.
    --  Revenue of $34.9 billion.
    --  GM North America EBIT-adjusted of $1.9 billion.
    --  GM Financial EBT of $0.4 billion.
