HomeTown Health's 19th Annual Spring Conference Welcomes State Leaders

SAVANNAH, Ga., May 08, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- HomeTown Health, LLC welcomed more than 200 rural hospital leaders, business partners and state leaders to its 19th Annual Spring Conference in Savannah, Georgia April 23 - 26, 2019.

Hospital leaders from around the state joined in breakout sessions focusing on Revenue Cycle and Clinical Documentation Improvement, Population Health and Care Management, Swing Bed Best Practices and Marketing, Consumer Wellness Advocate and Professional Coaching Advocate Certifications, as well as an update from the Rural Hospitalization Stabilization Committee participants.

Highlighting the conference main sessions were state leaders from Atlanta: Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan, Rep. Terry England, Chairman of the House Appropriations Committee and Co-Chair of the Agricultural Education Advisory Committee; Jeff Arnold, CEO of ShareCare and Technology Hall of Fame of Georgia inductee; James Howgate, Executive Director of Healthcare Analytics and Reporting for the Department of Community and Health, as well as attorney Josh Belinfante.

On Thursday afternoon, more than 60 attendees joined together for the live streaming broadcast of Gov. Brian Kemp's signing of 8 healthcare bills from Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Newnan.
