Ascend to Lift Force Majeure on HMD, Polymers

Ascend Performance Materials, the world’s largest fully integrated producer of nylon 6,6 resin, announced today it is lifting the force majeure declared on its polymers, compounds and fibers, as well as hexamethylene diamine, or HMD, effective immediately.

Ascend continues to invest in capacity and is on track to complete its previously announced capacity expansion efforts by the end of the year.
