“Kubotek’s K-Display Convert enables flexible sharing of precise CAD data with various downstream CAD/CAM and graphics programs throughout an organization,” said Ram Eswaran, CTO of Kubotek3D. “A fast and easy-to-use translator program such as K-Display Convert eliminates the need to go back to the design team to request CAD data in different formats.”

K-Display Convert requires no additional CAD software, enabling users to open the latest versions of files from the most commonly used CAD programs like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, PTC Creo, Siemens NX, CATIA V5/V4, and others and save them in neutral formats such as IGES, STEP, ACIS SAT, and STL.

Additional features:

  • Measure any size, distance, area, or volume of solids
  • Modify display using pan/zoom/rotate, transparency, and cutting plane functions
  • Hide and unhide objects from the original CAD file
  • Print CAD files and generate image and PDF files
