The award was announced today at Certiport's CERTIFIED 2019 Annual Educator Conference, where educators gather to explore the full promise and potential of technology certification in the classroom.

Mrs. Stubblefield has taught business education for 26 years, specializing in Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certifications and business administration classes. She is an FBLA sponsor and serves as the KY Membership Director for the National Business Education Association. In 2016 she was named as the KY Business Teacher of the Year and Regional FBLA Advisor of the Year. For her efforts in the area of entrepreneurship education, her local Chamber of Commerce named her as the 2017 Most Outstanding Woman in Business. Most recently, Mrs. Stubblefield was named as the 2018 Southern Business Education Teacher of the Year by her peers in eight states. She and her husband of 29 years have two children.

"Jennifer's accolades are impressive, but we've seen her in the classroom and her dynamic teaching style and passion for her students is why we honored her as our Educator of the Year," said Ray Murray, Vice President and General Manager - IT, Pearson VUE. "Anyone who has met Jennifer can sense her enthusiasm for helping students learn the skills they need to succeed in the business world. She has impacted thousands of students in her career and we are grateful for the work she does to further business education and certification."

Mrs. Stubblefield delivered a workshop session at CERTIFIED 2019 titled, "MOS: Give 'em Roots and Give 'em Wings." In the workshop she shared classroom strategies for MOS, how to help local markets see the value of MOS-certified students, and helping students convey their Microsoft skills on job applications and in interviews.

"Mrs. Stubblefield is the sunshine for her students - she absolutely impacts their lives," said Christopher King, Principal, Callaway County High School. "She's kind of an all-encompassing force. Her standards are so high that when students reach those they are just absolutely ecstatic."
