StrongBox Wins Contract to Supply Industrial Equipment for the South to North Water Diversion Project

HONG KONG, July 23, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- StrongBox has announced procuring a large contract to provide industrial equipment that will be needed for the massive South to North Water Diversion Project.

The Water Diversion project consists of various pipelines and canals that will transport an estimated 44+ billion cubic metres of water across 1,000 kilometres distance. This is China's answer to the droughts that have been plaguing northern cities of China including Beijing, and it will be the largest project of its kind with a budget currently at $48 billion (which is more than double what was budgeted initially).

The Project is extremely complex, and requires enormous amounts of industrial equipment for the construction; hence the government has called on StrongBox to supply it.

Demand for construction equipment has been continually growing for many years due to mega projects in China. These projects are so massive, that the capital required for these projects prevents them from being able to acquire the necessary equipment via a purchase - governments and enterprises instead turn to companies such as StrongBox to rent or lease the required equipment.

This contract represents significant revenue for Strongbox, and will fuel the growth of the company, which has consistently been in the double digits year over year.
