About Dovley
Dovley is a singer/songwriter, DJ and music producer originally from Boston and currently based in Los Angeles. Having trained as a pianist and vocalist since her early childhood, Dovley translated her musical skills into music production and sound engineering. Based in Los Angeles since her early teens, Dovley became inspired by L.A.'s underground electronic music scene, a scene to which she is a contributor today with her DJ collective known as Blvck Mvgic. With a love for live instrumentation and heartfelt vocals, her debut single, "Illuminate," peaked at #2 on the Billboard 'Top Singles' chart in 2013 under her previous artist alias. In 2018, Dovley shifted her career focus to acting and starred, wrote and produced numerous television and film projects, including, "Fashion Dolls" and "Festival Season," the latter a scripted comedy series for The Fashion Network inspired by her experiences in the music industry. "Prism" is the second single off Dovley's forthcoming studio album, Beautiful Chaos (Cromadiscope | Universal), due for release in early-2020. The first single off that album was "Everywhere," a song that earned a combined 400,000 streams across all digital platforms since its release in May 2019.
