RocketCyber Announces Defender Manager for Managed Service Providers

DALLAS, August 22, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- RocketCyber, a threat monitoring platform for managed service providers, today announced the general availability of Defender Manager, a multi-tenant command-and-control app for Microsoft's Defender next generation anti-virus and advanced threat protection solution.

Today's update provides full multi-tenant command and control of Microsoft Defender, including its own dashboard view of malicious activity, Attack Surface Reduction rules and Advanced Ransomware Protection. MSPs can now manage Microsoft Defender across their entire fleet of devices, by setting configuration policies, managing quarantine and remediation actions as well as reporting through the RocketCyber management console.

"In 2019, over 73% of small-medium businesses (SMBs) have experienced an intrusion, breach, or ransomware. These threats are evolving and becoming more serious by the minute," said Carl Banzhof, CEO, RocketCyber. "By releasing Defender Manager, MSPs can now detect, respond and prevent advanced threats that historically evaded traditional preventative solutions such as firewalls and anti-virus for all customers under a single multi-tenant console."

"We originally selected RocketCyber as a threat hunting, breach detection, malicious and suspicious monitoring solution for our customers," said Robert Boles, President, BLOKWORX. "By adding Defender Manager, our security operation centers gain an additional layer to rapidly detect, respond and prevent advanced persistent threats.

By adding the Defender Manager RocketApp, RocketCyber has defined a new standard for the MSP security stack. Combining Microsoft Defender's powerful antimalware and anti-ransomware capabilities with RocketCyber's advanced threat monitoring, MSPs can now have the confidence to protect their customers from a range of attacks at a compelling price point.

RocketCyber co-founders Carl Banzhof and Billy Austin will be demonstrating the new Defender Manager at the upcoming events: ChannelPro SMB, September 5 in San Jose, CA and at the ASCII IT Summit, September 25 in New York, NY.

RocketCyber offers the threat monitoring platform as a software-as-a-service and managed-security-as-a-service model for managed service providers. The new Defender Manager app is available today and MSPs can register for an account by visiting http://www.rocketcyber.com
