QuickStart's Workforce Readiness Platform CLIPP Receives Another Upgrade - Introducing Adaptive Learning Using AI

AUSTIN, Texas, Aug. 22, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- QuickStart, an Austin based IT skills workforce readiness training company announced the use of adaptive learning technology to further personalize the learning experience for its users. The company is known for introducing industry's first workforce readiness platform (CLIPP) using AI and multi-modal delivery.

CLIPP asks a learner their business goals, the competencies they want to master, and the projects they are working on to personalize their learning experience. With the new release, it now uses AI/Machine learning to curate and recommend learning and certification paths. "We have taken personalization of IT skills training to the next level by integrated hands on lab based assessments as well as role based assessments into our adaptive learning engine" says Faisal Khwaja, VP of Technology.

When the user logs in to the CLIPP platform, the system will identify them as a manager or a learner. Based on their role, the platform will ask them to define organizational as well as individual goals. At this point, you have free range over what you tell the system. You can put in anything ranging from 'I want to learn how to build a SQL database on Azure' to 'I want to become a cybersecurity analyst'. The system will then generate a skills tree and ask you to enhance it by identifying your skill level.

"Most of learners come in with an educational debt. They are owed a better learning experience than they received in the past that is not relevant to their business goals, the projects they are working on and the competencies they want to master. We are very excited with the release of our adaptive learning technology that we can now personalize and only fill in the skills gaps that are mapped to their business goals and mapped to the projects they are working." says Ed Sattar, CEO of QuickStart.

He further said, "When you are not able to identify people's knowledge gaps early on in the learning journey, they can get disengaged and overwhelmed very quickly. Further, over learning and under learning both cost time and money. Hence, you have to be able to assess the skill set gaps against specific business goals, roles and competencies one wants to master. Then recommend only the IT training and certification according to the skills gap. This helps engagement level, confidence level, retention and increase probability of people achieving their business goals by 30%."
