Ejimoo Announces TikTok Stars Charli and Dixie D'Amelio to Join the Team

NEW YORK, Nov. 20, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Ejimoo LLC launched a new simplified social media alternative, offering unique, minimalist features that will change social media habits and our cultural practices for the better. Ejimoo recently added TikTok sister-duo stars Charli and Dixie D'Amelio to join their team.

Charli and Dixie D'Amelio are two of the fastest rising stars on TikTok and have recently created profiles on Ejimoo along with their parents Marc and Heidi. Their father, Marc, said, "My family is happy to join the Ejimoo team. We believe in their mission and hope we can help the platform grow into something really great."

Users are verified with a phone number instead of an email making the authentication process harder for bots to generate fake accounts.

The Ejimoo social media app allows users to upload photos and 30-second videos with captions maxed to 99 characters. This "condensed" approach allows users to share meaningful moments and then get back to creating more.

Ejimoo signature features include:

-- Unfiltered photos and videos are displayed in black and white reminding
people what they are looking at is a photo, and not real life. Users can
discover the color of the original image with a simple click.
-- The "No comment" feature encourages social sharing and aims at
eliminating the negative echo-chamber resulting in today's bullying,
        trolling, and shaming.
-- A profile "bar" that allows users to link all online platforms in one
place (Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Twitch, etc.) - a must-have feature
for all; however, people will soon see how surviving with less is
        attainable.
-- Off on Sunday. Ejimoo shuts off from 5am Sunday morning to 5am Monday
morning. The "less is more" approach is designed to change social media
habits and encourage a new way of life - enhance character, not online
influence. The idea is to return to and/or hold on to traditional values
        in the modern world.

The founders of Ejimoo have experienced first-hand the harmful effects of social media on their generation and beyond. At the outset, their mission was to create something additive, not addictive. They have built a product that is intended to reinforce the fulfillment from the experiences themselves, not a compulsive need to seek validation.

"It has been said that cultural products not only reflect the prevailing culture, they shape it. Our hope is that Ejimoo becomes a cultural product that shapes a happier, more vibrant, present society," said Isaac Stalzer, Director of Community Engagement at Ejimoo. "Life isn't lived on an app. Our generation has the opportunity to be the greatest social media influencers: influence a movement to limit our social media use."

Ejimoo is building and improving with updates to the App and Google Play Stores bi-weekly by constantly getting feedback from users and creating a platform that provides a familiar and fun experience without the social pressure. Ejimoo has added a new feature to their activity page that groups activity by day, week, month, and year.
