Tribus Enterprises Awarded United States of America Patent

Tribus Enterprises, Inc. (https://www.tribustools.com), an innovator in the hand tool industry, announced today that the company has been awarded a patent by the United States of America Patent & Trademark Office for their revolutionary design of its 360 degree ratcheting flare nut wrench.

Tribus was issued patent #10,414,029 B2 on September 17, 2019 for their design that includes 4° range of motion and 360° rotation. The Tribus design facilitates tiny rotation for any mechanics hands that are in a tight space. Additionally, the pawls that engage the ratchet have a very generous surface area that translates to heavier torque application when compared to a standard ratcheting wrench.

“We believe that Tribus manufactures the world’s finest 360° ratcheting flare nut wrench,” stated Tribus Enterprises CEO Kendall Bertagnole.

The Tribus ratcheting flare nut wrench addresses the market in a way that has never been done before; reducing the time it takes to turn inline fasteners. Due to the design of the pawls that engage into the ratchet, the Tribus wrenches have an extreme amount of surface area that assists with the torque that can be applied.

The Tribus wrenches which increase the professional mechanics productivity were initially intended for use for the automobile tube and flare nut industry. Tribus also sees applications in the diesel truck industry, heavy equipment industry, aviation industry, mining industry, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) service industry, and even the plumbing industry.
