Turningpoint Expands Telecommunication Inventory Support Services For The Entire US Department Of Veterans Affairs Enterprise
ROCKVILLE, Md., Feb. 11, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Turning Point Global Solutions, L.L.C. (TurningPoint) announced today that it will expand the use of its industry-leading Network Inventory and Optimization Solution (NiOS®) to provide an enterprise Telecommunications Expense Management Solution (eTEMS) for the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The project is vital in supporting VA's transition from the GSA Networx contract to the Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions (EIS) vehicle.
A significant subcontractor to prime B3 Group Inc., TurningPoint will configure and deploy NiOS; manage interfaces between NiOS and VA financial management and contracting systems; and provide ongoing maintenance, programming, and engineering support.
TurningPoint's NiOS is a TEMS platform developed for and deployed by, multiple large federal agencies including the Veterans Administration, Federal Emergency Management Agency, Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Army, and others. NiOS 6, the newest version of the NiOS platform, comes with the Tracking, Automation, Control, and Efficiency (TrACE(TM)) module, providing project management functionality that enables deep visibility into associated ordering and inventory changes.
