Children's National Hospital Partners with Bainbridge Health to Enhance Visibility on IV Medication Use Data

PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 11, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Bainbridge Health, a spin-off company of the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, is partnering with Children's National Hospital to enhance visibility on medication use data. Through the agreement, Bainbridge Health will provide Children's National with its Med O.S. Platform in an effort to improve medication safety and streamline clinician efficiency.

Based in Washington D.C, Children's National Health System has been serving the metropolitan DC area since its founding in 1870 with a mission to excel in Care, Advocacy, Research and Education. The health system is nationally recognized for its pediatric specialties, ranking among the top five pediatric medical centers in the nation, #1 for Neonatology, and in the top 10 for every specialty evaluated by US News & World Report.

Inpatient medication errors are a significant driver of patient harm, and infusion pumps remain the technology most associated with errors. Bainbridge Health remains committed to preventing medication errors and ensuring the safety of all those who seek care. The company's Med O.S. Platform centralizes and analyzes fragmented infusion pump data to help clinicians better understand how medications are being administered to patients and help inform quality improvement initiatives.

"We are privileged to have the opportunity to work with Children's National--one of the leading pediatric providers in the United States. We are excited to share our technology and continue to expand the network of pediatric hospitals we serve," said Joseph Kaupp, CEO of Bainbridge Health.
