nVent Foundation Grants Support Youth STEM Education

The nVent Foundation today announced 11 recipients from its latest round of grants focused on expanding access to STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) education for youth from underserved and underrepresented communities. This is the second round of grants from the nVent Foundation, following its first 14 awards announced in August. In 2019, the Foundation’s first operating year, a total of $250,000 in grants were awarded to nonprofits serving communities across the U.S. where nVent has business operations.

“We are proud to invest in the communities where we live and work. As a new company that is rooted in inventive electrical solutions, we believe focusing our grant dollars on STEM education is a wise investment in our youth and the future workforce,” said Lynnette Heath, nVent Chief Human Resources Officer and Foundation Vice President. “We’re excited to partner with these great organizations and look forward to hearing about their successes.”
