The partnership brings together Booz Allen’s understanding of the federal certification process and clients’ missions with Google Cloud’s infrastructure, analytics, and artificial intelligence/machine learning capabilities. With early access to resources and prototypes through the partnership with Google Cloud, along with training opportunities, Booz Allen will have a wider range of capabilities to offer the Federal Government. The firm will also be able to share feedback and insights about implementing Google Cloud services in a complex and sensitive government environment.

“We’re excited to partner with Google Cloud to bring the federal government the best technologies to enhance their IT modernization efforts,” said Osama Malik, principal of digital strategy and management at Booz Allen. “Our focus on enhancing the citizen experience through digital platforms, analytics, and search will continue to expand through joining Google’s Cloud Partner Advantage program.”

This new partnership demonstrates that through Booz Allen’s past work with Google, the firm has now achieved a high level of expertise and proficiency in Google Cloud capabilities. The firm has already been able to leverage Google Cloud’s wide-ranging cloud platform offerings to meet client missions.

For example, Booz Allen’s work to modernize Recreation.gov leveraged Google-based chatbots and artificial intelligence to enhance the digital citizen experience. For clients like USPS and others, Booz Allen was able to employ Google Cloud to create analytics solutions. The firm also values the cybersecurity tools that Google Cloud offers and Booz Allen plans to expand its capabilities using these tools in the future.

“We’re thrilled to now have Booz Allen as part of our Partner Advantage program,” said Shannon Sullivan, director of federal, Google Cloud. “Citizens expect more personalized experiences from federal agencies across the web, mobile apps, and over the phone. We’re excited to work with Booz Allen to offer solutions that empower agencies to better serve their constituents—and drive true mission success.”

Google Cloud’s commitment to open technologies offers new opportunities to federal IT leaders. For instance, its ability to translate large swaths of visual imagery into insight, help with customer experience and knowledge management and their proficiency in analytics and AI makes them a real asset to federal government clients. Through this partnership, Booz Allen and Google Cloud will provide access to tools and services that will help federal agencies advance IT modernization efforts and better meet their missions.
